What is mindfulness

Mindfulness (awareness) can transform our life, developing the ability to be in the present in a profoundly different way.

It is a way to get in touch with what happens inside and outside of us, to take care of the body and mind.

It allows us to manage the small challenges of daily life in a different way, as well as to effectively deal with situations of stress, pain and illness, but above all to rediscover the immense joy present in the here and now.

It is a capacity that has always been intrinsic to us human beings, which simply needs to be rediscovered and cultivated to bring a sense of peace, openness and inner joy back into our lives.

MBSR – Mindful Based Stress Reduction

Mindfulness-based stress reduction program developed by Dr. Kabat Zinn in the 1980s. Thanks to its effectiveness it is currently applied all over the world in numerous contexts (companies, hospitals, schools, prisons, …) to improve all physical and psychological pathologies related to stress.

Course structure

Conducted by Dr. Maria Pia Ferdinandi and Dr. Francesca Maria Salerno.

1 meeting of 2 hours per week for 8 weeks from 6 to 8 pm and 1 intensive meeting of 6 hours.
